@mrpowell - No. Not unless you change the payment details, and you shouldn't be offered the opportunity to change those, if it is a client that you're accessing via an MCC (the right way) rather than directly (the wrong way). AFAIK, the only way that, as an agency, operating via an MCC, you should get responsibility, is if you attach a client to an MDO you have in the superior MCC.

Hi Armando - You can terminate your own account. Pause any adverts, and then under the "My Account" tab you can cancel.

I've been wondering about how to solve your problem... The first and easiest step is to ask anyone in the list with "Administrative Access", to remove you. If they don't... Pester them for a bit.

Failing that, I have a much more complex answer involving Google Apps. It's a really nice answer, if you plan on managing lots of client accounts. :) I'll try to write it up. I haven't seen this described anywhere else. :)

Folks,

I just received an email from Google 'Help' (AdWordsPro Sarah) referring me to this article. This doesn't solve my problem. :( I was previously invited by a client to view her adwords account. Now I'm on the account and I can't get off. When I login, none of those choices (in your example) in the right-hand column appear (i.e. where you have the big red circle). i.e. 'Change Access/Terminate Access' is not an option.

I have a Gmail account and I use GoogleReader and calendar. I don't want to lose my regular acccount but I DO want to get off this other account so I can sign up for adwords for myself. I'd be super, super, super grateful if someone can help me with this. Thank you TONS.
