Looks like Google has begun another round of suspensions on advertisers who violate Landing Page & Site Quality Guidelines.
I received frantic calls and emails from 4 different advertisers yesterday (2/17/10) who all received a final warning from Google stating their accounts were to be suspended if their landing page quality score issues were not fixed immediately.
Here is an Excerpt from a Google Email:
These emails need to be taken seriously because advertisers who do not act immediately do run the risk of suspension from Google AdWords.
This issue is extremely difficult for advertisers because Google shares very little info about *why* these advertisers are in violation of site quality guidelines. Google shares a small list of the possible reasons a landing page can be of poor quality but there are many other reasons for low landing page quality. Many advertisers have no idea what they are doing wrong and Google will not give advertisers much direction when it comes to exactly what the issue is and how they can fix it.
If you are facing a possible suspension for Landing Page & Site Quality Guidelines and do not know what is wrong with your website there are services such as the AdWordsPI who can help you identify your issue.

Nice wrap up Kim.
I think it’s important to note that the wording in this mail is slightly different to what’s on the official site quality guideline pages. In my opinion, it’s a little MORE clear, especially when it comes to the affiliate description.
i am also affected by “Rarely shown due to low quality score” from mid of january,
* Keyword relevance: No problems
* Landing page quality: Poor
* Landing page load time: No problems
Still unable to trace what the problem is, Is there any guru to help me??
qirfan,
Landing page quality score problems can be from a wide range of issues. Many affiliates run into issues because of lack of original content.
Here is a link to a FAQ articles here at AWHE – there is a section (linking you directly in) that covers landing page quality score. maybe you can identify a problem.

Is there any good suggestions? About adwords audit
Kim, I recently noticed that my entire Adwords account quality score for most of my 500+ keywords dropped from an average of 7 – 10 to 3 – 4. Its not just one landing page or two its almost all my keywords!
Any ideas as to why an entire Adwords account Quality Score would drop?
Hi Don,
Hard to say without actually reviewing the data but here are a couple of ideas to get you troubleshooting the issue:
1. I doubt it has anything to do with landing page quality because you will see your QS drop to 1/10 if you have any LP issues.
2. run the keyword diagnostic tool and make sure that you do not have any issues with low bids that are causing your CTR issues by allowing for plenty of impressions but not allowing your ads to be positioned high enough to get the clicks. – The diagnostics tool will also let you know if there are any issues of other keywords serving your ads. This can cause a drop in CTR because at times Google will serve ads using other related keywords that have a higher ad rank than the keywords you have selected.
3. overall review your account CTR. If it declines for a long period it can effect the quality of the account. In other words if one search network campaign is performing very poorly it’s CTR can drag the rest of the account down also.
Questions welcome.

2.
This seems to be a fairly general problem. I’ve seen a drop on brand name keywords, exact matched, for their own brand, from 10 to 7. That is extremely strange. I’ve had PPC guys from other major brands noticing this too. I think it’s a Google Thing. I haven’t seen impact on AvCPC yet, though. I assume that this is the equivalent of “raising the baseline” for advertisers – or a bug.
Hey Jez!
For kicks and giggles make sure your exact match keywords are not being served by another ‘similar’ keywords that Google has deemed a better choice because of adrank. Google has been messing with my client accounts as of late (last several months) by trumping exact match keywords in lieu of what they deem better choices do to ad rank and cost per click. I had been puzzled to see a clients CTR decline without explanation and when using the newer keyword diagnostic under the KEYWORDS tab / MORE button I found that ‘other’ ads were being served. Google was trying to help but instead wound up serving wrong ad copy and worse yet wrong landing pages which drove the CTR and conversion rates into the ground.
Just make sure you are not running into another case of Google trying to help :) see this article on the issue: http://www.adwordshelpexperts.com/2010/04/when-google-should-stop-helping-adwords-advertisers/
